What To Expect
When you visit our pharmacy, one of our team will carry out a consultation to get some key information. This will include how long you’ve been experiencing symptoms, how severe your symptoms are and if they’re impacting your day to day life.
Once this is complete we’ll either prescribe medication to help you, or give you advice and potentially a referral to get any additional help you need.
How Can We Help
For each of the conditions we can help with through Pharmacy First, there are some conditions for accessing the service, usually the age of the patient. This is because for some age groups these symptoms need to be looked at by a GP to rule out anything potentially serious.
If you need medication to manage symptoms, our pharmacists are able to dispense the medication, even antibiotics if necessary, to save you a trip to the GP.
