About the Dengue Fever Vaccine

Dengue Fever is a viral infection spread by mosquitoes in many tropical and subtropical regions around the world, including parts of Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

Symptoms can include high fever, severe headaches, muscle and joint pain, nausea, skin rash, and extreme tiredness. In some cases, Dengue Fever can become serious and may require hospital treatment.

Even if you receive the vaccine, mosquito bite prevention remains one of the most important ways to reduce your risk of Dengue Fever while travelling.
